our graphic artist Rich Aidley was on hand to sign 1st edition copies.

February
2008 - Nürnberg, Germany
The
International Toy Fair.
This has been a great week for ICE FLOW, with a LOT of interest
from German publishers and distributors, as well as companies from Europe,
the US and Australia. With the widespread positive response to our game,
we surge forward towards our launch date of late May 2008 - in time for
the UK Games Expo where FAGIN'S
GANG met with success last year.
November 2007 - Chicago, USA
ChiTag,
The Chicago Toy and Game Fair. This was a fantastic opportunity to test
the latest prototype of ICE FLOW with American gamers; the response
was also fantastic! Many thanks to all those who played and commented
- and came back to ICE FLOW again and again. Special thanks to
Timothy Hunt, whose Knucklebones
preview appears in the March '08 edition (see here).
October
2007 - Essen, Germany
Spiel'07
in Essen. This was Ludorum Games' first visit to the world's biggest public
games fest - and it didn't disappoint. Our first game FAGIN'S
GANG was very well received and the prototype of ICE FLOW
played very well. In fact, we collected a UK distributor, a US distributor
and a lot of interest from Europe. Look for ICE FLOW next year
at Spiel'08.
August
2007 - Stoke, UK
The Cast Are Dice: the wittily
titled gaming weekend in a theatre the centre of England, hosted by Nick
and Sue Fisk of Shire
Games in Stoke. We used this opportunity to test the first public
prototype of ICE FLOW. The response was overwhelmingly positive,
with much useful testing feedback. Special thanks to Paul Allwood, Koert
Debsyer, Mike Hibbert of The
GameScape and Markus Welbourne of JKLM
Games - and of course to Nick and Sue.
*Not a real polar
bear, but a big, fluggly, toy Eisbären made in Germany.
